Whoa. It's been a while.
Reading the entries of this blog have been mildly comforting... it's like a place I can run to where no one can hear me complain. Sweet.
So, news to the unhearing! Ricardo and I broke up in February. No, I don't want to marry him. And no, I don't really miss him much anymore. Sam and Stephanie were married in January and now have a gorgeous little dude who's my Nephew/Godson. I love that little kid, he's adorable. The idea of being a Godmother is kinda mindblowing, but cool. Also, I moved back home on July 20th. I conquered! I survived! Whoohoo! I love my cousins, but we are very different. They are the epitome of perfection and lovliness... whereas I am depressed, negative, unsmiling, jealous, rage-prone, angry, sad, grumpy, tomboy, unworthy of any affection... haha. I'm having quite the day.
Yesterday I was so excited. I started my application for the Disney College in Florida. I was so excited. I get to the web-based interview. I answer each question truthfully, and I get a response from them saying,
"Thank you for you're time, unfortunately we will not continue with the application because we are looking for a different kind of person."
I'd like to say that devastated isn't even the appropriate word for how I felt! Crushed, man, crushed! The college boasts of excellent opportunities and networking and looks great on a resume... IF you're the type of person who can bounce off the the walls 24/7 and smile even in your sleep. I just feel like trash, basically. It kind of brought into light again just how many flaws I have. It kinda hurts, cause, it's me... it's how I am! And also, they judged me based off of a web-interview NOT human to human contact! I don't know... I guess I'm still pretty hurt. Oh well, someday I'll work for Disney... just not the parks.
In other news... I am supposed to be writing a history paper.
Peace OUT.
Loveth,
Sarah
