That was brilliant...

Smart move of smart moves today, dear.

In digital art we are on our last project, and the project has to do with images and words... Oooh. Basically our intstructor (Chet Glaze *it's a superhero name, I am CONVINCED*) wanted us to start off with an insignificant memory that stuck with us... and then brainstorm words and images from there and just branch off like crazy. Well, I was pretty much stuckity stuck when I thought "Heck, I'll go look through my blog! I should have some good stories in there!" Huhuhu, yes, quite brilliant... execpt for one minor detail...

Remember the speakings I had about "duck"? Uh-hum, YEAH. The person in question who said "duck" SITS RIGHT NEXT TO ME IN CLASS. Like, we are good frenz! And here I'm sitting digging through my blog and he's watching me! Brains! BRRRAAAINS! Oh the smartness.

Anywho, I dunno if was reading that part, or if in fact he memorized my blog address... CAUSE THAT WOULD BE... HORRIFIC.

A bit about my word/train of thought though. I remember this time when I was chillin' at Moorpark College munching on lunch, waiting for my cousin to get out of her class. All of the suddenb this fat, old, decrepit crow rolls up the lawn. He's cruisin' like any other crow would (dang dapper little fellows, how I adore them), 'cept with a little gangster lean (cause he's old man, OLD! He's seen some days). Anyhow, so he's cruisin' around me and there are little crows kind of hovering a bit, and they looked creeped out and scared of him! So, being the crow loving chica I am, I give the old man my sammich. Seriously. MY SAMMICH. This is a sacrafice for me 'cause I dig sammiches more than the average gal! Now, all the little crows freak out cause they want some really bad, but this old man whips around and stares them all down! He was INTENSE to say the least! Well to make this little story short, he gobbled down the sammich and went cruisin' along up the hill and over the little concrete bridge. After that day I never saw him again. I felt rather sad cause he was awesome. Awh, old gangstahman crow, how I miss you.

Yeeah. Well, that's the best I've come up with. Other stories I though of were the time I dropped my phone in the toilet, Dayle's glorious 8 seconds on my horse, the time I was chased around the yard by a rooster, aaaaand... I dunno what else. I'll have to do some more thinking.

Alright, I have to get it outta here! It's already 11something and I said that I would get to bed early tonight. Huhuhu.

Loveth,
Sarah

P.S. I've been looking up stuff about the French Rococo. CRAZY stuff, man! I love it!

Why do I need you to tell me who I am? Why do I need to pretend?

I KNOW who I am!

Dear Ratatouille, you never cease to amaze me. Every time I watch you, I become more amazed.
Love,
Sarah

Anywho, it's been a very long week. Also it seemed to be incredibly short as well. I'll go through the highlights:

Monday: I don't even remember Monday. I'll just say that we probably had a dance party, cause in my life, that is the thing most likely to happen.
Tuesday: No school, Dad's Birthday. Naturally, we went to Disneyland! :) Dad bought 4 hats and a sweet car from Cars with his Annual Passholder b-day cash spoils courtesy of Disneyland! I purchased some suckers (IT'S TRADITION!), two little keychains, and a vinyl Mickey that I want to decorate. Also, Mum, Millz, and Magz went on Screamin' for the first time. They LOVED it. So it was awesome.
Wednesday: Went to the local beauty school and got my hair reshaped for $5. Spent about 3 hours waiting there for Rachel because the people there screwed up her hairdye and had to fix it. Went to Michael's after that and bought me some felt for my Coraline costume and a quill pen. Woot. Spent the rest of the day (and I really do mean THE REST of the DAY) working on my digital art project... D:
Thursday: School. Freaked out ALL DAY LONG because I thought I was going to be dropped from History. (Not the case! HUZZAH. But, the prof. doesn't like me. Awesome.) :( Also, this was critique day in Digital art. Vented to instructor about History class... he looked worried for his life/"I don't really care about you so why are you telling me this?!" but it was cool. During lunch I partied with Jayr, Kevin, and JR. They got me laughing so hard I went into hysterics and couldn't control myself. Fun times!
Friday: Went shopping with Mum and sisters. She bought me this AWESOME dress that is so ridiculously cute. I LOVE IT. Will wear it to school muchly. Had Sonic for the first time. Not bad, not bad. I dig their slushies. Made my Coraline sweater. Went to Cyndi's B-day Party Dance. Saw Travis in drag... D: It was so convincing and so horrifying at the same time! Had an alright time there. Will probably elaborate on this...
TODAY: At home. All day. Eating too much food and now not feeling well! D:

Alright, more about the dance.
So, it was alright... except I smell/am an awkward turtle for reals? Or I just dance like a moron... but even then! People avoided me or they'd move the dance circle away til I was standing by myself. I still can't figure it out though. It just feels like the same awkward dynamic its always been since I was 14. Always the odd man out, forever. It's pretty unsettling. I don't know how to make it better 'cause it really would be nice to have some more friends...? Oh well. "Someday someone will come along and..." yadda yadda yadda. Been hearing that forever. I dearly hope that that's true. Because that would rock HARDCORE. Someone who likes to be around me... and sing and dance and play guitar and draw and laugh and huzzzzah.

Well that sounds mopey. If I could make a suggestion... may I suggest that you watch Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. It is an all around feel good movie! It's great and I love it very much! :)

Also, I LOVE TO DRAW. I just want to say this and make it clear to all the animation studios that someday in the not too distant future I WILL BE AT THEIR DOORS. Just as a heads up cause, it's pretty much what I was born to do. And I love it with every fiber of my BEING. MY SOOOOUL even. Yeah... just as a notice. :D

Hum. Anyway, I need to get myself to bed. I am tirrred.

:) Love!

More musings about "duck"... and chocolate covered bacon...

We'll get to the bacon shortly.

So, my friend Jayr is (was? will elaborate on this as well) dating this girl who he affectionately called "duck". Not just straight up duck, but "Hey duck" in this sickly, sweet, amazing, soft tone that makes me want to be envious! Seriously though, I've asked a few people and they get weird about it, but then I ask them if it would be better in a soft loving tone... and it just is. Ahh. I hope I get something like that someday and soon. :(

Onto the (was?). I'm not entirely sure if he is still dating her... which is the epitome of odd/strangeness. I've only been hanging out with Jayr and all of his friends for 5 weeks... and I guess he'd been dating her for 3 years or something. It just seems like a strange turn of events. Oh well. I am itching to ask him about it, but... he's very distant and mysterious and it drives me crazy. Also, he is forever in a good mood... also strange to me.

Now to the bacon.

Chocolate.
Covered.
(Joy!)Bacon.

Seriously, if you ever get the opportunity to try some, do. I know it sounds like a bizarre combo... but it is DELICIOUS. Freals. If you like a party in your mouth/stomache... TRY IT NAOWZ.

Anywho, enjoy your rest of the SUNDAY!

Love,
Sarah

He calls her duck...

... quite endearing, actually. Makes me feel jealous. Oh well.

I'm tired of being angry, and I'm tired of people being angry at me. It's very frustrating.

That's all for today. Maybe when I'm feeling better I will elaborate on my feelings about "duck".

Love,
Sarah

School, glorious school.

My digital art class is going to kill me.

Seriously.

My wonderful instructor decided to do a fun activity where he gives you a word and you interpret that word through photos that you have scanned in or taken... my word is HORRIFIED. Along with that word comes a list of stuff we can't do. It can't be: Cheesy, cliche, obvious, narrative, or linear and we can't use people or animals. It has to be ABSTRACT and METAPHORIC. What the SERIOUS CRAP, dude. I am so freakin' stuck and ANGRY. I haven't been this angry since last summer! I will say that I give it up to the Art Instructors at MSJC. They really know how to get me angry! So far for mine I have stairs that are washed out kind of. I wanted to use crows but that's a NO. After that idea was blasted out of the sky, I thought maybe I'll do messy looking paintings of crows, nothing that LOOKS like a recognizable crow, but y'know...? That idea was shot down as well! So now I'm going to try to do something like Escher-style... stairs and all. Now I'm thinking that I could use black boxes? Or something? I have no clue... I do know that I am frustrated all kinds and I want to cry! AUUUGHHHH.

Anyways, other than that, school has been pretty good. I have one of my good friends from my 2D Design class last summer, and I've met some new people. It's been really nice! :) I am very happy!

Well, that is all for the evening.

PEACE.
Love,
Sarah

P.S. Friday Egg Sammiches = DELICIOUS.
